Took REG exam 11/16/19 after studying for two months. After multiple attempts with other exams and finally passing three this year, I have a good feel for when I’m “ready”. For this one, I didn’t have that feeling, instead thinking that there were a few areas I still needed to focus on. I decided to take the exam anyway to get the experience and hopefully pass in doing so.

Score release is 12/10 and it’s possible I did pass, but I definitely feel my instincts were correct in believing certain areas need attention. Namely basis i.e. FMV or adjusted, inside or outside, and AMT. Even after listening to the the Ninja audio during my work commute for two months, I continued to hear new nuggets that were helping bring it all together, so if I have to retake I think a few weeks is all it will take to complete my journey.

    AUD - 80
    BEC - 80
    FAR - 82
    REG - 82

Just to follow up now that scores dropped – my instincts were correct as I failed with a 69. That's about were I felt I would land and now I have the experience of this test and what is being focused on. I plan to retake around third week of January which should give enough time with all the holidays etc. Surprisingly, I feel very positive about having to start studying again. It's dark and cold outside so I've been a little lost with what to do with my time, thus restarting the is goal is oddly welcome. It's a blessing I'm permitted to take this exam so I'm not going to sulk due to a retake. I'm just going to focus.
