REG in 7 days and haven't looked at the business law material yet – Advice?

    Hi guys,

I’m scheduled to take REG in 7 days. I am 110% dialed in on the tax half but have not glanced at the business law yet. I also work in the public slave… I mean public accounting profession like the rest of us so it’s not like I can study all day…

MY QUESTION: Should I crash through the business law material and hope to get miraculously lucky at the exam, OR save myself the likely nuisance of rescheduling REG and just postpone for the next window?

    Thanks everyone.

Based on your scores from the other two sections and your confidence with the tax portion of the REG exam, I would vote for the “crash through the business law material” option. Much of the material is common sense stuff for someone that took the typical business law courses in college. There are some parts you will most likely need to cram more for (e.g., priorities in bankruptcy, priorities in attachment / perfection, etc.), but you can pick these out pretty easily and focus most of your time on them.

    REG - 93 (7/30/13)
    BEC - 90 (8/19/13)
    AUD - 98 (8/31/13)
    FAR - 84 (10/19/13)

are you using Becker? at a minimum, i would do the chapters on contracts/sales. if you're 110% dialed in on tax you can cover a good chunk of the Blaw in 7 days. i think it'd be pretty stupid to not learn any of it.
