I just took REG and the simulations were unbelievable. I knew the material and what they were asking, but EVERY task had calculations that were completely unrelated to one another. No drop down boxes for easy points, all calculations!!! I breezed through the MCQ’s just in case something like this happened, but I would have never expected this. I had about 70 minutes left when I started and focused on the easy parts first, then time was running out and ended up putting 0’s for anything that might be a 0 just to finish, with 1 min left.

Anybody else have this problem? Should I expect the REG sims to be like this again if I have to retake the exam?

Welcome to the “I hate REG SIMS club” of which there are many members (see REG Exam forum).

Quite a few folks that feel like they bombed SIMS end up passing, so don't give up hope, especially if you did well on MCQ's.

I did ok on the MCQ's 2 weeks ago, only to get blown away by the last 2 SIMS.

And …..there is always hope for a bad SIM to be a pretest question :).
