So I took Reg yesterday and I just can’t seem to unwind. The exam it’s self was ok, probably because I didn’t pass, but I feel good about it. I know, I know, feelings are feelings and you can’t rate pass or fail on feelings. So score release is soon. Anyway, I am off to Far and just don’t know when to start, or can’t get Reg off my mind. Why do I feel so stuck, nervous, anxious…. confused?

I feel for you! I took FAR and then took 10 days off and got a 72. It's been over 2 months and I can't get back on the horse like I was and it's bc of that 10 day break! I know everyone is different, but next time I'm going to keep studying until I see a passing score.
My advice is to just review what you just took since score release is soon. Good luck!!

I took reg the beginning of May and i felt great leaving the test too. I hope this means good things for us 🙂 This is my last section and i got a 68 on Reg in the 1st Qtr of the year…i felt defeated when i left that exam BUT i knew i wasn't likely to pass that time – i just didn't feel ready. This time i was trending 86% on my MCQ's and really understood the material. I only took it 1st qtr because i had it scheduled and i was afraid of this section, so the experience made me feel better the 2nd go.

I don't think you can say feeling good about a section means nothing 🙂 Good luck on Score release day – i cant wait for next week. Hoping i am officially done!

Do you have FAR Scheduled already? If you don't i would wait for the score release – its not far out. I always continue to review course material (not as many hours but enough) so if i don't get a passing grade i can jump back into study mode and take the same exam asap. I can't jump to another test and then back – messes my brain up.

    Good Luck

You know you did well when you feel good walking out of that testing center. It means you came prepared. Stay positve!

Agreed with CPAGuru. Gosh, can't be negative leaving the testing center good. Hopefully OP and Sandra passed! Got to stay positive. Only because the vast majority of people have had the experience of leaving awful and still passing, doesn't mean that feeling good means you failed. Fingers definitely crossed that both of you nailed this beast. It's nice and refreshing to listen of experiences where one doesn't feel bad after leaving the testing center. Having second doubts is natural, but have to stay positive and plug along. Stay positive OP. You probably did better than you think.

YOu might just be exhausted, and you might be expecting too much of yourself…I find the accounting field can leave you feeling empty…you might have a bit of a void now because you lived and breathed REG for a while and can I say that you might actually miss it a little? Do something creative like painting or crafts, or read a poem to take a break from the black and white numbers.

    The Piper
    William Blake (1757–1827)

    PIPING down the valleys wild,
    Piping songs of pleasant glee,
    On a cloud I saw a child,
And he laughing said to me:—

    “Pipe a song about a lamb:” 5
So I piped with merry cheer.
    “Piper, pipe that song again:”
So I piped; he wept to hear.

“Drop thy pipe, thy happy pipe,
Sing thy songs of happy cheer:” 10
So I sung the same again,
While he wept with joy to hear.

“Piper, sit thee down and write
In a book that all may read—”
So he vanished from my sight; 15
And I plucked a hollow reed,

And I made a rural pen,
And I stained the water clear,
And I wrote my happy songs
Every child may joy to hear.

Thanks gang. I am still getting it together. I don't know if I should go on to Far or wait for score release. I have an NTS already, but have not scheduled. I also have Becker 2018 videos for far as well. Should I use those? or is there significant changes as well?

As per Wiley, they told me to wait to order books until now if I'm sitting for the July exams, due to changes…not sure exactly what changes…why don't you get in touch with your point of sale contact for Becker? Good luck!

Never mind. I just looked at the calendar. If I study and study hard in case I didn't pass, I should have enough time in between. Oh Lord, I keep asking myself why go through this, but I just can't walk away.

@tncincy, I believe there's no issue with having two notices. Just be sure to take FAR before expiration.

    AUD: 55, 74, 71, 76*, 73, 69, 73, 75

    BEC: 54, 70, 71, 75*, 65, 73, 77

    FAR: 45, 54, 70

    REG: 66, 68, 64, 62, 73, 68, 71, 77*
