Please share your stories. I took REG at the end of May and I am sure I failed as I had a very limited knowledge of taxation and the test concentrated specifically on taxes so I had to guess too many MCQs and also all of the SIMs except for the research questions. I am sure I did not pass.

    FAR - 89
    AUD - 84
    BEC - 84
    REG - 49, 86
    ETHICS - 96........ DONE!!!

Took REG at the end of Oct. Felt like I did so-so on the MCQ's, and was certain that I bombed the SIMS – the last one, I was basically just throwing in numbers, with 3 min left on the timer. Went home and started looking at the calender for when to retake it.

Turns out I got an 88. Holy cow was I excited!

I studied for REG during the summer between graduation and work. Tax was my least favorite thing about accounting in undergrad, so I wanted to get it out of the way.

I took it in September, and I walked away thinking I failed for sure. The proportion of questions seemed way off from what Becker had promised me in the video lectures. I also felt like my sims were ridiculous and came out of nowhere.

    Got an 89.

Someone told me that if you walk out of your exam feeling horrible, then you probably passed.

Count me into this group. I have been studying at night after working full time and after putting my 2 and 4 year olds to bed. I'm taking the IQEX so I only needed REG. I took the courses over the summer and in September and studied October and November. Took the exam end of November and left the test center in tears. I definitely got the hard M/C's for the second testlet, but was unsure about the third testlet. The SIMs completely surprised me. Two were a bit unusual and likely got 20%ish on both, one I should have known and blew it, and I likely did okay on one other. The research I felt I got as well. I have still been doing M/C questions to keep up my knowledge between writing and the results.

Well — passed with an 88! Goes to show that if you study hard, you'll do okay.

I used Becker mostly with some Wiley M/C and SIMS (had access from doing my courses through Uni North Alabama online). I don't think the Becker M/C's prepared me for how hard the M/Cs would actually be.

I got the same experience! I walked out of the test center feeling i was totally screwed. Why?

    1. I used Becker 2011 text book for a 2014 exam. Thanks to Ninja notes I figured out some of the changes in tax and business law change

    2. I was not well prepared in professional standards and ethics section. I guessed on most questions in this area by taking out the for-sure wrong answers.

    3. I didn't feel my 2nd testlet was more difficult than the 1st one. And I got MCQ in my 3rd testlet asking questions on basic concepts…

Reality? I got 93! I have no idea on how AICPA scores the exam. Or may be I am just getting lucky…

I came out of REG sure that I would have to retake. Like a lot of posters, I didn't feel terrible after AUD or BEC, so I thought I had an accurate gauge. Passed with my highest score yet (85)! This test messes with you in every way possible.

    BEC 7/3/14 - 79
FAR 8/30/14 - 64, 85 (used Becker and Ninja MCQ)
    AUD 10/3/14 - 82
    REG 11/25/14 - 85

I came out of REG fully expecting a retake and losing Audit. It was close for me but I came out on the right side of the 75. Keep the faith — you can do it!

You actually are not a member of the 300 club, as you did not pass your 4 parts with a 75 on each. Your score totals to 333. You are a member of the 333 club. Know your role.

@audit — I cannot add without a 10 key so that would explain it!

I felt terrible after REG exam. I thought I failed for sure. I got 80 and I am done with CPA exam. It is a great feeling to know that I don't have to take it again. Never give up and have faith. It is possible to pass.
