Is a month enough time to sufficiently study for REG?

I am looking for some advice on this. I passed BEC last Friday and began studying for REG about a week and a half before that, covering the Individual Tax section with Yaeger CPA Review. I have a pretty good handle on it but need to keep reviewing it. I am trying to get in about 20-25 hours per week of study time because of work and other obligations and I will probably increase that substantially as it comes closer to exam time.

I want to take it early April if possible.

Does anyone have any advice on if doing this in a month is possible? How long did any of you spend trying to prepare for REG? This is my first time taking it, so any ball park numbers or advice would be helpful.

    Thanks,

    Alex

The Becker class I attended had most taking the classes and exam within a month. I started going through the materials on my own in December, so I had a little more than a month. If you are working on REG, buy a month of the Club 75 and get Jeff's notes. They look awesome and I wish I had them when I was working through REG instead of after. A month should be fine as long as you are dedicated and study hard.

I was able to fully prep. for REG in under a month. Spent 3 weeks going through all the lectures, material, and questions once and then spent a week doing a high-level overview. I probably spent about 90 hours total, which is 3 hours/day. I'd say it's doable but it might be difficult with work and other obligations unless you are focused.

If you're feeling time crunched and you really want to get it done, focus on the sections that are worth the most (tax) or the sections you are the weakest on. I used Bisk and it had more information on business law than it did on tax, but tax makes up a significantly larger portion of the exam so you have to prioritize.

Depends on how much you study during the day, the leats I have studied for an exam that I passed was 3 weeks. For Reg the least I have studied was probably 6 serious days of Mc's and I got a 74.
