The only time I’ve studied SIMS was to see the general format. I’ve passed around the 80’s on AVG. I hear the REG sims are brutal. With that said I generally think SIMS are an inefficient use of time since they take so long and it’s very unlikely that you’ll see the SIMS you practiced on the actual exam. I believe if you understand the material well, there’s no reason that a SIM should be overly difficult. I’m sort of answering my own question but I’m curious on your thoughts? I’m 1 week out til exam day.

Generally, I would agree with you. But doing a few SIMS (on basis for example) would really go a long way. The SIMS in REG are brutal and to do no SIMS is not recommended in my opinion. I just took REG and didn't practice any SIMS. If I somehow manage to pass that would be amazing but if I could go back, I would selectively practice a few SIMs on topics that are likely to be tested via SIMS. There are no business law SIMS.

The only SIMS I ever did in practice were the ones on the AICPA practice exam. I do believe those are beneficial because they are closer to the format you will see on exam day. Also, practicing the research question is pretty valuable time spent I think.
