I thought I would create this new topic for those that are taking REG in the October/November testing window. I am taking this test on October 19. Anybody have any experience with this section?

I plan on retaking REG at the end of Nov. I have taken it 3 times have scored a 67 twice and a 68 once. Hopefully this time I can get my 75.

I'm taking REG Nov. 30th. Listened to Becker lectures for it already, hopefully one month of studying will be enough.

Are there 30 or 24 questions in each MC testlet for Reg?! I have seen/heard both?! I'm taking it for the first time Friday and I'm trying to figure out my time schedule! Thanks for your help!!!

I'm retaking REG next Thursday… got a 74 the first time, hoping to DOMINATE it this next time. I'm feeling very confident about multiple choice questions, but it's the simulations that have been killing me. The way I see it there is no way to study for the sims (with Becker, at least) because the format/material is so different on the actual exam. I just want to make sure I have plenty of time left so I can use the research tool if I'm lost.

    BEC 75 - REG 74, 88 - FAR 74,89 - AUD 92

    DONE FOREVER

Hope – REG is a struggle time-wise. You only get 3 hours to knock out 72 MCQs and two sims. People tend to be crunched for time – especially on that second sim.

If you find yourself seething over a particular MCQ that you can't get the numbers to work out for, pick B or C and move on…don't spend 5 minutes on one question.

I've been there and have gotten so frustrated with one question that I shortchanged myself on the rest of the exam.

    AUD - 79
    BEC - 80
    FAR - 76
    REG - 92

Jeff, what is the rough estimate for October REG Wave 1 results? Even just basing it off 2008's release. Thanks

Just walked out of REG this morning, and I am a little dissapppointed with the Becker materials. Seemed to focus on the wrong areas too much. But, I am hoping for the best, it is (crossing my fingers) my last exam. Any idea when 1st wave will be released?

Well I took REG yesterday. Thought that I would throw my two cents out there for what they are worth.

Holy strawberries, Batman! We are in a jam! I had no idea three hours could go so fast. MC, sure time not an issue. Sim 1, no problem. Sim 2, sweet lord!

I left 35 minutes for each sim. While I think that was plenty of time, watching the clock tick down slowly made more and more adrenaline and panic flow to my brain. Which stops thinking altogether.

Do I think I was prepared, knowledge-wise, yes. But I would suggest for anyone preparing for REG, do practice simulations! And I would say, let the clock run down to about 25 minutes in your practice, then start it. Try to conquer the panic and emotion that comes with having no time left. It will seriously help you be able to think clearly on the simulations.

I finished the exam with 35 seconds left. And even if by law I could, I would not be able to tell you what I wrote about in the communications tab!

    Good luck everyone.

    FAR - 85; BEC - 79; AUD - 92; REG - 86!!!

Wow!!! Just walked of REG and feeling completelt broken. Felt ok about the MC but I don't remember ever studying the topics on the sims. I felt ok about the written parts too. Anyone else ever feel like this on exam day and pass?
