    Hi everyone,

I’m not sure what is my next step. My son’s speech therapy texted me today to tell me she got tested during the weekend for COVID and tested positive, She was in my house last Wednesday for one hour without a mask. We are getting tested tomorrow. We have to quarantine until December 2nd. My FAR exam is on November 30th. My NTS Expired December 31st My AUD exam is December 28th.

Anyone had a similar experience? what should I do?

Maybe reschedule FAR back a few days after Dec 2? I'm assuming you don't need to worry if your tests are negative.

    REG - 91 (May 18 2020)

    FAR - 89 (Aug 24 2020)

    BEC - 95 (Sept 28 2020)

    AUD - 90 (Nov 12 2020)

I would recommend you reschedule your test something like Dec 8-15, to give yourself sometime after the 14 days to get yourSelf together (and in case the result didn't come back within 24 hours on Dec 2). Chances are you will need to do up to 2 or 3 test to confirm you are negative. It might take up to 4 days for covid to show up in your test after first contact. And you will need that paper to get into the test center.

You also want to leave enough time after the first test for a quick refreshment to take the second test.

In the meanwhile, eat well sleep well study well and enjoying the holiday.

Chances are … If all your family members all have no symptoms and have been feeling pretty well for the entire time, it's probabaly all negative. Nevertheless you should monitor your son to make sure he didn't get one of those covid kid symptoms.

I have a friend who have family member living in the same house but on a different floor contacted COVID, and they all have close contact. No one in the house except that person had COVID. It was just random.

I have had to reschedule several times due to covid. My test center was shutdown then re-opened, then closed again a few days before the exam with a note of closed until further notice. I didn't complain, I didn't feel ready anyway, but I found another location about 3 hours away. So I hope this arrangement work. But back to your situation, covid is serious, make sure you and your family is safe and reschedule if you need to. Hey, get a few more days of study.

I rescheduled and paid the $35.00 fee; however, my board of accountancy (Indiana) told me they are extending the NTS through 6/30/2021. As a right now, both FAR and AUD and schedule for ending of December. I don't feel ready for either.
I will keep you guys posted. Thank You for asking Jeff 🙂
