Hi guys, I had taken CPA twice but never had to use Excel. I’m going to take BEC on May 1st and pretty sure that Excel will be helpful doing BEC. It seems like a stupid question, but how do I open the Excel program on the Prometric computer? Do I make the exam screen smaller to open it from Desktop or do I have to ask the examiner to open it for me?

    AUD - 79
    BEC - 88
    FAR - 85
    REG - 81

The excel program is located on top of the test screen. I think its located right next to authoritative literature. All you do is you click on it and then it opens. It opens to the size where its comfortable for users to use. I only used Excel for long a*s computational questions. For instance =(89+79)÷(89×678)

    AUD - 78
    BEC - 76
    FAR - 80
    REG - 77
    FAR 80

    REG 79*,77

    AUD 78!!Final

    BEC 76

I have no desire to be a public accountant but my company wants me to be a CPA so...

I used excel extensively (maybe that's my problem with FAR lol).

It has more than basic formulas, like CPAHOPE said, it's right up at the top of the question window near Auth. Lit

Be careful though, the prometric people said that if you switch between excel and the test too quickly it can crash the computer. Mine crashed during FAR and they had to restart it (just another addition to my demise)
