Im freaking out! Board not responding

    I need to get my REG credit extended but they’re not responding. What the hell should i do? Send them another email or wait until end of april? This whole craze is driving me nuts

    They agreed to extend any NTC fall into April 1st to June 30th to September 30th.
    Credit expiring during this period will be extended as well.
    The thing we do not know yet is that credit expiring after June 30th is still uncertain if they will offer extension.

    Thnx for the response but I haven't heard every state board announcing or willing to extend credit expiring before june 30. So far I only heard Texas board willing to extend credit. This is what is freaking me out.

    I'm in the same boat, even though my credit doesn't expire until 6/30/2020, idk how long the pandemic will actually last. Tennessee is my state and I haven't seen anything about it, I just have FAR left and I'm currently studying for that.

    Their response was rather cold and odd, told me to contact prometric and never mentioning about possible credit extension

    COVID19 Update – CPA Exam Candidates
    Thursday, March 19, 2020
    Prometric Test Center Closures
    Prometric, the CPA Exam testing services provider, will be closing test centers in the United States and Canada for a period of 30 days, starting March 18. They anticipate re-opening centers on April 16, 2020. Candidates with an existing appointment will receive email instructions on how to reschedule to a future date, once it is safe to resume testing. No rescheduling fees will apply. Visit Prometric’s website to search for available appointments and for updates related to test center closures.
    Notice to Schedule (NTS) Extensions
    All Tennessee CPA Exam candidates with a Notice to Schedule (NTS) expiring between April 1 – June 30, 2020, will be extended until September 30, 2020.
    CPA Exam Credit Extensions
    The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) will identify all candidates who have an open NTS and credit expiring through June 30, 2020. This information will be provided to the Board. The Board plans to consider granting an extension of credit to any candidate that falls within this group. The next scheduled Board meeting is anticipated for early May and affected candidates will be notified if an extension is approved. There is no need for candidates to individually contact the Board as this time.
