Longer wait is frustrating

Before continuous testing i recall the wait for score release was MAX 2 weeks
Now it’s a month 🙁 Am i the only one frustrated? 9/16 feels like forever 🙁 I really don’t get why they can’t do a rolling score release or at least release more often.

I’m not a US citizen so I couldn’t really pick and choose with flights getting cancelled at the last minute and quarantine rules changing and everything 🙁 Only option was three days after the cutoff date.
On the bright side at least I got to take the test 🙂 The day after I tested Guam got into lockdown and rolled back to 14-day quarantine rules for everyone. Guess I was lucky.. but its hard to wait :/

Waiting is the absolute worst part of it! Guam has certainly had its struggles with COVID. Will you study for the next or review this topic until scores are released? When will you be able to test again?

What you can do though is schedule your exam closer to the score release date and then try and book your flight close to the exam day. I fly from Jamaica each time to take a section so I know about those cancelled and delayed flights. I normally book the flight 2-3 days before the exam.

@monikernc It's my last section so all that's left for me to do is wait 🙂 If i don't pass i honestly have no idea when i'll be able to go take the test.. so I really really hope I did a good enough job this time lol

@chrissy yeah that's probably the most we can do 🙂 hope this covid thing gets better soon so us non-Americans can have more flights to choose from! 😀

@accrual I am amazed by the number of people outside the US who are getting their CPA. Why are you doing this? What country are you in? It must be very expensive with all the travel costs. We have seen many take multiple exams at a time due to expense. We can barely handle one at a time. I wish you the best for this last exam and your career. Will you ever move to US? 🌎

@Monikernc Here in Jamaica we dont have alot of CPA's. Most students go for ACCA or Masters. Yes it is very expensive to travel, which is why a failure is so devastating. That 73 on REG hit me hard.

Oh @chrissy That would be hard to bear. All that time and money. This time of year, the weather interferes, too. That and COVID… You will get there. What state do you test in? Are you a candidate in that state, too?
