Have a test scheduled for 5/30 and what I’m reading is that a face mask is required. I work in an essential position and thankful for that as I’ve been working and getting paid. I haven’t had to wear a mask at work as we’ve rotated people in and out of the office working remotely to cut down on the number of people in the building together.

I don’t feel comfortable wearing a mask because of a claustrophobic kind of a feeling. I have sleep apnea and can’t wear the mask at night if that tells you anything. Also, wearing one I think would just fog up my glasses and having to constantly pull it up would seem to be distracting.

IF I brought the mask with me and wore it into the seat and IF that mask happened to drop down….I wonder if they’d make a big deal about it. We’ve had these discussions at work. My wife is a health-care professional and there are experts on both sides that say the mask helps and doesn’t. Most say that if you have the virus you should wear it to stop from sneezing and hacking it all over everyone else. Me not wearing one won’t increase your danger if you have chosen to wear one. And, if I’m willing to accept the risk of myself catching it by not wearing one, shouldn’t I be able to make that choice? I’m in a state where we’ve had a low number of cases because we are more wide open and don’t really have mass transit like NYC. I think the probability of winning the power-ball is higher than catching corona.

I don’t really want to debate the effectiveness or ineffectiveness of the masks – as i said, there are valid points on both sides. Just curious how others will manage wearing one if they have some weird quirk like I do about breathing through something like that and/or have issues with it causing claustrophobic like symptoms.

Hope your studying is going well or if you’re done that you’re enjoying not studying 🙂

    Cheers.

My teenage son to me "If you don't pass, it isn't like you'll die or anything."  True.  Very true.  Just do your best, it's all you can do.
