I have a question about sitting for the CPA. I have been out of school for over 10 years and a CPA recently told me that my credits will no longer count towards the requirements to sit. Is this true? I live in Illinois if that matters. Thanks!

it depends on the coursework you took. it has nothing to do with a timeline. meaning out of school 1 year or 10 years can still sit if you took the required courses

I was out of school a lot longer than a decade and the only issue I had was 15 hours I took my first semester when the university I attended was apparently having accreditation issues.
