Advice for AUD

I am taking the AUD section for the first time on October 5th. I am doing pretty well on multiple choice and trending at about an 80. I am planning to practice SIMS a ton this week. Does anyone have any advice on how to best prepare for the SIMS? I know they’re so random… I’ve analyzed the AICPA blueprint and am using that as a guide.

I am using Wiley as my study material. I have passed REG and BEC with only practicing about 5-10 SIMS each. I took FAR in July, but I didn’t pass. I got a 68, but I didn’t practice any SIMS at all which is where I ranked weaker (study time was limited due to my baby being 3 months old and being back at work). I know some people recommend passing FAR before AUD, but a lot of the FAR material is still in my head.

    AUD - 82
    BEC - 77
    FAR - 84
    REG - 80

Definitely do the AICPA practice exam. My exam SIMS were very similar to the practice exam. Not saying you'll get the same, but they are a very good guide as to what to expect and a good way to practice the AL.

    AUD - 79
    BEC - 82
    FAR - 79
    REG - 86

I took AUD 3 times and passed it on my third try so I can tell you Ratio Analysis and Sampling sims are heavily tested. Congrats on the baby!

    AUD - 75
    BEC - NINJA in Training
    FAR - 75
    REG - 84

Topics are all random. Just practice a bunch of SIMs and make sure you are good at the Advanced Search tool for the guidance question. Also, be sure to carefully read each question's instructions on how to input the numbers (ie: positive only, positive and negative, blank vs 0s).

    AUD - 81
    BEC - 87
    FAR - 80
    REG - 82
