I am a bit confused in regards to reapplying for NTS.
Can I reapply for new NTS even before taking a test? I remember someone said that I must wait till the score is released in order to reapply.
This is the situation I am in right now.
I am scheduled to take my last section(BEC) on the 9th of September, but
I am not prepared at all because of my Audit retake. My NTS expires on
the 5th of October, but the thing is my FAR will expire 11/15/2019. So, I
think it’s best for me to give myself enough time and take it right before
11/15 since it is the last quarter before my FAR expires.
I read somebody’s comment that even if i cancel the test, I need to wait until my NTS expires which is 10/05/2019, but if i just go ahead and take the test, then i still need to wait till score release date, and i am afraid that it will be too late to schedule for the test in my testing center…What would you guys do if you were me?

    I can do this

Hey there! It is true that you need to get a non-passing score in order to pay for that section again with NASBA. Meaning, you cannot get an another NTS for (BEC) until scores are released. As far as my advice to you, definitely just wing BEC. At the very least, you will get a sense for the test and its format. If I understood correctly… you're scared about not being approved to take BEC in Q4 in time – I wouldn't worry too much. Not too sure about your State, but CA processes my stuffs pretty quickly and someone always drops out of their testing slot legit everyday. I don't schedule my exam until I know I'm ready – usually 3-4 days out and always was able to do so. Hopes this help!
