While I’m in limbo waiting on scores, I figure I might knock out the ethics exam this week. But I’m a little confused by the options on the site. There is text, online for licensure, and just online. Does anyone know what the differences are? I just want to make sure I get the right one.

Before anyone asks, I am definitely in a state that requires this (Illinois). I got the link for the course directly from the Board’s website.

Any help would be appreciated!

I understand that the ethics exam is basically like a take home test, similar to the CPE ones. However, for those in California, is there a company where I have to purchase the exam specifically? Or do I basically have options from different companies? And which company do you guys recommend?

@Eric happy belated! The best present EVER for sure. I am so happy we finished right before summer. I did not want to give up another summer slaving away while everyone is doing fun things outside….

took ethics today.

Overall it was a great time. The exam froze on me at question 34 and I had to restart and remember my answers.

And then after question 45 it somehow submitted itself and didn't let me answer question 46.

I was relieved to see I passed the first time with a 93 though lol

You wanna know something… there is no question 46. It jumped right to scoring after question 45 for me.

@OTK1995 weird. In the printout of the test there was a question 46.

@Madhav if your state board requires it for licensure and you want to get licensed ASAP then probably also ASAP.

yo! those taking AICPA ethics – where is this practice test that is basically the same as the real test? I am in resources and opened all the pdfs in there but which one is it in? THANKS ALL!

Hoping someone can answer this question!! So I just passed all 4 exams (WOOHOOOOO) about to move onto the ethics exam for CA.

I got my bachelors degree but am short of the 150 unit requirement so I'm taking classes at Foothill College. It's a community college that offers online courses.

You have to have 24 semester units in business and 24 in accounting but can I go over the 24 units in account to get me to the 150 units I need or do they have to be in something non-accounting related? I'd rather take all accounting classes! If anyone knows the answer please let me know!
