Is anyone going to pull an all nighter to get their scores early Tuesday morning?

    I haven’t decided yet.

I don't mind that we don't find out our score right away because if we did there wouldn't be a curve. Got to love a curve. But I do agree it's too long to wait as it stands.

And for BEC, I just heard this so it may be wrong, but someone said that the written portion is also graded automatically (it looks for key words) and a human reviews only if you're on the “bubble”? Has someone heard something different?

^they claim that there is no curve.

Well….would you look at that. Why does this exam insist on being consistently confusing and unclear. I have taken three sections and I continue to learn something new everyday. Thank you for the info.

If it isn't curved then what do they mean when they say ‘comparable', ‘weaker' or ‘stronger'? if not against others, than against what?!

I just want to know!!! This wait is driving me insane.

How fair is it when everyone takes different versions of the test? How can they really “compare” people. To me, unless everyone else takes the exact same test as me, I don't find the comparison at all useful.

The pass rates wouldn't stay relatively the same if they didn't curve. There's no fault in admitting that they do it to regulate the amount of CPA's out there, just be honest with us!

I def think theres a curve, esp since you cant score 100%. If you get everything correct, in theory you should get a 100%. But it caps at 99%. Its all done strategically to make our lives miserable.

I agree. There's a reason the pass rates have historically stayed at 50%. They want to retain the prestige of the title. Plus they collect money from us as we fail and retake exams over and over.
