Does anyone have any resources such as a TBS for this Estimated Tax payments method (Annualization of Income Method)? Basically, an individual has AGI, I/D, and exmepmtions. Then, he has different income during each quarter that must be annualized and paid as an estimated tax. Becker doesn’t have any good examples and the IRC is all over the damn place.

Sorry this is kind of confusing, but maybe someone understands what I am asking for. Its basically an individual making installment payments every quarter… I am looking for a TBS to help me out.

    Thanks.

I know, lots of MCQs but not enough SIMs to practice on.

However, just knowing what it is, the calculation, and what items go into the ‘boxes' Form 2210, you're already have a decent start.

    Helpful links:
    https://quickbooks.intuit.com/r/taxes/estimated-tax-payments-should-you-use-annualized-income/
    https://www.investopedia.com/terms/a/annualized-income.asp
    https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f2210.pdf

    They might test you on:
    – How to fill-in the boxes, and complete the Form 2210.
    – Sorting documents (via tabs/pages/exhibits) – how it relates to the amounts.
    – Error correction or vouching of amounts given – likely DRS questions.
    – Or just anything related to it.

Disclaimer: I am scheduled to take REG for 2017 Q4. Just to let you know.

It's a good SIMs question. I've seen this question on previous MCQs.

    Good luck.
