I walked out of BEC feeling like I did okay on the multiple choice (2nd testlet was harder than the first), but I had to rush through the sims so that I can give myself one hour to finish the WC. I literally guessed on some of the simulations. Has anyone felt like they bombed the sims but ended up passing?August 12, 2019 at 9:31 am #2625537
For BEC I bombed the MCQs and the written part and ended up passing. I had no idea what the written questions were asking so half of my replies were just Thanks yous and “that's a really good question, I'm glad you brought it up”August 12, 2019 at 9:34 am #2625546
Took FAR and am also anxiously waiting…August 12, 2019 at 9:37 am #2625549August 12, 2019 at 10:28 am #2625648
I passed BEC with leaving only 28 minutes for the WC, but I am a very strong writer. I also got topics that I was very comfortable with. I had planned on leaving more time for the WC, but I got hung up on the SIMS. I felt pretty bad after BEC but ended up passing with a 77. I'm sure you passed!August 12, 2019 at 10:52 pm #2627265
The wC is what I am most concerned about for BEC. I havent started it yet but I hate forms and formality and communications are all about that.
I too am waiting for 8/22. Took FAR 8/1 and AUD 8/2. I really have no idea on FAR. The first testlet felt 2x as hard as any testbank MCQs Ive done including the 2018 “HARD” AICPA questions. The 2nd testlet felt about equal with testbank MCQs and the Sims were about what I expected. I feel like its a possibility I passed but I have no idea.
For Aud it was a little easier than I thought. Had over an hour left when I was done so I feel decent about it but with th3se tests who knows. Id be most shocked if I passed FAR but not AUD, I kind of expect the opposite but of course hope I passed both. If I fail both I dont know what Ill do.August 15, 2019 at 7:49 am #2631954
Mercenary, your experience sounds exactly like mine with FAR. I had an unusually obscure first testlet and the rest were also obscure but I feel that I adjusted to this. I have no clue if I passed as well, but I have rarely seen people say their MCQs were difficult right off the bat… this is making me nervous :(. hope we both pass!August 16, 2019 at 9:20 am #2634048
I want them to quit posting about whatever conference is happening on their facebook page and post about what we all want to know! when are the scores gonna be up!! I can't even concentrate on BEC lolol what are yall's study tips to concentrate when awaiting for the next score?August 20, 2019 at 9:23 am #2643156
Anyone else feel like NASBA is trolling us? These long wait periods and reduced tweets are giving me anxiety.August 20, 2019 at 10:10 am #2643303
Yes. The wait is killing me!!August 20, 2019 at 11:39 am #2643603
The last scores come out a week early. It'd be nice if they'd come out a day or two early this time.
Waiting on fffFAR…August 20, 2019 at 1:25 pm #2643864
Anxiously waiting for hopefully my last score release. Do they normally tweet today that the scores will be released tomorrow (day before the standard release date) or is it usually the day of? I cant remember and this whole process is driving me crazyAugust 20, 2019 at 1:50 pm #2643963
ahhh its almost here!! anyone get their scores yet??August 20, 2019 at 3:06 pm #2644203
Nada in Texas…August 20, 2019 at 4:34 pm #2644506
Tomorrow is the day? Super nervousAugust 20, 2019 at 9:13 pm #2645124
Meh. I was hoping for an early score release today. I'm supposed to be studying for AUD and instead I can't concentrate. Took FAR on the first day of this score release, July 21. Four weeks plus to wait for a computer based test score is quite frankly ridiculous. It is true, that the worst state a human can be in is not knowing. Pass or fail, everyone just wants to know!August 21, 2019 at 5:03 am #2645511
I just took FAR on the deadline so I am not sure I will see my scores with everyone’s.
Did anyone else get an insane amount of document review? In all I had 1 research TBS, 1 regular TBS and the rest were ALL DRS. In every course that I’ve used they mention you’re like to come across 1 but,6?!? C’mon.August 21, 2019 at 7:31 am #2645685
Beyond anxious for this score release.August 21, 2019 at 8:06 am #2645724
It has my focus destroyed. I'm trying to read about derivatives for FAR, but they have my anxiety and my ADD rampant from this slowing to two tweets a day about info on the CPA exam and how scores AREN'T ready yet. lol Last release must not have had as many tests to work with to have been done so early.August 21, 2019 at 8:13 am #2645739
They just posted that you should be prepared for a score release with the link. AKA we should be getting a score release today. D:August 21, 2019 at 8:19 am #2645775
Idk….usually they have the “expecting to get one soon?” tweet for that. This one says the target date of Aug 22. Maybe that means tomorrow? :/August 21, 2019 at 8:19 am #2645778
I think it's today. A lot of people have been using the eyeball trick and it's still working. So, fingers crossed.August 21, 2019 at 8:23 am #2645781
I hope it’s today. I’ve been losing sleep over this damn exam!!August 21, 2019 at 8:35 am #2645796
I took FAR (my first section, first test) on 8/9 and this wait has been killing me! I really hope they release the scores today.August 21, 2019 at 11:18 am #2646057
Well for those who don't stare at twitter, it actually might be today lol. For those of us (myself) who don't have the pdf eyeball trick, hope we get our answers soon.August 21, 2019 at 11:51 am #2646105
It actually might be until tomorrow. A person on twitter confirmed that he/she called NASBA directly and they said they will release scores tomorrow nightAugust 21, 2019 at 12:01 pm #2646141
Nvm – I just heard that the PDF thing is saying “credit”, so they’re presumably updating the scores now. I’m hoping for a score release for today.August 21, 2019 at 12:02 pm #2646144
You never know! They could be required to say that, since it's the target date on the AICPA.August 21, 2019 at 12:03 pm #2646147
tomorrow night?? It's killing me..August 21, 2019 at 12:06 pm #2646159
It'll definitely be tonight. NASBA would never release that they're doing an early release via telephone or anything else. The pattern is always the same and I'd bet money that their next tweet happens around 3:30p and announces an early release tonight.
