Any advice on pensions or consolidations???

    taking FAR tomorrow for about the hundredth time…pensions continue to be a PITA – doesn anybody have any advice on either those or consolidations? Anything that will help me solve the mcqs faster!

    @Terry.. if you still have Wiley, I really liked Pam's videos on pretty much everything but if I remember correctly she's got one a deep dive on consolidations also. I think watch that video and work through the example as it was very comprehensive. Otherwise, this guy is good.. haven't seen this one in particular but have watched him for other topics https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PpmXaSaSv84
    It is truly understanding the topics and the ins and outs that will increase your speed.

    The guy for pensions was so boring on Wiley but in the 4th lecture down I believe he also does a long comprehensive example which kind of walks you through the whole process and that really helped me.

    @Sg235 thanks for that 😉 I took the exam on Thursday and luckily no pension stuff this time but I did go in to it knowing how to get pension expense at least. I feel the exam went better than last time so I'm hoping it was enough to pass and finally be done! I can't call it, though. All my SIMS except the research and one other one had at least 5 attachments but I expected that since I've now taken it FIVE times. Twice missed it by a couple points so I'm just really tired of it and ready for it to be over.
