I took REG today. Made it to the last testlet, and the people working came in, and told everyone we had to evacuate. Sure enough there was firetrucks and what not lined up in front of the testing center. Guess there was an electrical fire, or so I think that’s what was said. After an hour of waiting, was able to resume back as if nothing had happened.

Anyone else have any experiences such as these during your exam times?

When I took my first exam, the test center manager unplugged their server while exams were in process. I guess he was doing some cleaning or something. It's a big center, so there were 20 or so people taking exams at the time. All of a sudden, the computers just froze up. I thought mine might be the only one but I looked around and people all had the same looks on their faces as I did. We walked out of the testing room and the staff told us what had happened. People were so pissed. I was too for a second but then I saw the manager, an elderly gentleman that was distraught at what had happened. They had to restart the server and it took 30 minutes or so to get us going again. We were all worried that our time would keep going or that we'd have to start over completely, but it turns out there is a backup system that freezes your exam where you left off if any type of interruption occurs.

I took my other exams at a different Prometric.

Oh man! I'm thankful that didn't happen to me, and I don't blame you for going to a different Prometric. That's good you were able to pick up were you left off.

During our whole fiasco, a lady was contemplating having to reschedule due to other obligations, but I'm not even sure they would have let her back in to grab her stuff from the locker.

A few years ago when I took the AUD exam. We were told that during the exam that there would be a FIRE DRILL. YES A FIRE DRILL! But we were told that we didn't have to leave the testing room and can continue with our exam.

When the fire drill started, the fire alarm sounded and the lights were flickering for nearly 15 minutes. It was so annoying even with the ear plugs on.

One tester was so pissed, I thought he was about to rip the heads of the Prometric people.

During my first exam they were doing construction work on the parking garage next door, and direct line of sight from the testing room.
Construction work including non-stop jack hammering.
That was pretty sweet. Even with ear plugs and the headphones you could still hear it.

I remember the testing center being so cold for one of my exams last April that I drank hot water on my break to try to thaw myself out.

I guess my experience wasn't directly related to the testing center, but I almost passed out in front of the testing center before my 1st exam, because I was too nervous. Sky turned yellow and I thought I'd fall. Good thing I got their 90 mins early, because I had to go back to my car and calm myself down for a while.
