I took it 2/24 and I can say make sure you know BLAW well as well as ethics. Also know basis, liquidation and property transactions very well. Those are all heavily tested.

I know I got the REG research question incorrect simply because I didn’t drill down to the matter that they were asking about, I also feel like I crushed 4 of the other SIMS truly up in the air…

I took it 2/24. My exam questions made my study MCQ’s seem elementary – though, maybe that’s because I was nervous about the exam altogether. I used Gleim and Becker MCQ’s, and I did Wiley diagnostic tests the day before my exam just to get some new MCQ’s. You can go to Wiley’s website and sign up for their 14 day free trial. You can also go to the AICPA website and work their test exam; it’s a very short version of what to expect on the test. I had a few questions about foreign subsidiaries on my exam (I had not looked over that information at all), and a majority of my test was about knowing S Corp information. I also had B-Law and gain/loss quesitons. Everything else is a blur.

I regret not looking over all the tax forms and seeing how they flow. I think that would have helped me feel more confident in some of my answers.

When you get to a DRS, try not to get overwhelmed with the information you receive up front. Focus on one question at a time.

    Good luck to you!
