ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I am finally onto my last exam. I have been using Becker from the beginning and started using NINJA as a supplement after failing my first two exams. I have been using both review courses in the past but found that the Ninja audios, notes, and a ridiculous amount of MCQs have helped me the most. I am taking FAR for the first time in December and need to pass or else REG will expire. I don’t feel as though going through all the Becker materials (videos, practice, quizzes) is the best way at this point but I do want to make sure to understand all the material for the exam. I find that the Ninja stuff is great and I learned the most drilling Ninja MCQs and rewriting the Ninja Notes. Any suggestions?

Um…I'm not sure what you're needing if you know how you are learning. What I would say is maybe hit the MCQs and get out of the assessment phase. Then you can see where your weak areas are and can go back to Becker or the Ninja book and read up/watch videos to beef up those areas before going back and hitting MCQs on them. It took me too long to figure out my best study method, but that is what ended up working for me to pass all of them.

Jennifer, could you elaborate on what was your best study method?

@Clark – I just hammered Ninja MCQs. I would write down notes on the questions I got wrong, and I did listen to some audio in the car. After I got out of the assessment phase, I could clearly see where some weak areas were based on the scores. I would go back and read up on those areas in both the Ninja book and Wiley stuff, then hit questions on that area until I felt more comfortable. Then go back to random mixes. Wash, rinse, and repeat. After 3 years and too many failures, this worked for me to pass them all within about 6 months.

@Jennifer – Thank you for the response! I currently only use Becker. Might look into Ninja MCQ to get a larger test bank.
