Just wanted to see if NASBA had started reaching out to anyone regarding extensions yet?

My state board automatically granted an extension.

That has got to be stressful! I don't see why all boards wouldn't grand automatic extensions. @Mrsterrell which state are you in?

    AUD - 76
    BEC - 82
    FAR - 82
    REG - 86
    Becker & Ninja MCQ

    BEC - 79
    REG - 85
    AUD - 5/27/16

The extensions are being granted by the States. So, if you are waiting on NASBA you will be waiting a long time You are better off calling your State Board and finding out what their plans are if you have any exams that will be expiring. You would think that it would be just a uniform decision since this new exam change is affecting pretty much everyone. They certainly do not want to make this easy.

    AUD - NINJA in Training
    BEC - NINJA in Training
    FAR - NINJA in Training
    REG - NINJA in Training
    AUD - 1/6/18
    FAR - TBD
    REG - TBD
    BEC - TBD

    AUD - 73, 72 retake 7/2/2016
    BEC - 8/20/2016
    REG - TBD
    FAR - TBD

I am so ready for this nightmare to be over. Been at this way too long.

To ruggercpa2b, the Georgia State Board of Accountancy's main page says the following,

“The Georgia Board has notified NASBA that those affected by the scoring delay will be given an automatic three-month extension of the 18-month window for scores expiring during the score delay. NASBA will make the determination if you qualify during the month of June, and you will be notified of your extension directly by NASBA exam services. The Georgia Exam Coordinator (email cpaes-ga@nasba.org) will be able to assist you if you have any questions.”

So for my state, it seems that NASBA will be reaching out to candidates that qualify.

Unfortunately, I lose credit for FAR on August 31st so I fall just outside of the score delay so I'm not sure if I'm granted an automatic extension or not.

@CorporetteCPAintheMaking I was under the same impression. I'm registered in Indiana, a state that has not automatically extended score credits. My REG expires on 8/31/17 and I took FAR and AUD during Q2.

I have not heard anything yet. So far, I'm just hoping no news = good news. Did you take your last exam in Q2?

    REG 69, 73, 80 (lost credit), 80!

    FAR 62, 69, 72, 79!

    AUD 71, 84!

    BEC 64, 71, 82!

    Done!

    REG: 69, 73, 80!
    FAR: 62
    BEC: TBD
    AUD: TBD

@drojmg Yes, I took REG 5/26 and I lose credit for FAR on 8/31. Passed the other 3 on the first try but then I started working in public and had to rush my first attempt at REG so I just took it for the second time. The new sims were brutal. I just hate that I'm having to study until August just in case I failed and have to take it 2 weeks after I find out I failed. I don't care if it's NASBA or the Georgia State Board of Accountancy, I just want to hear from someone if I'm getting an extension or not. I mean, even if I did get an extension of my credit for FAR, I'd probably still keep studying REG so I don't forget and have to re-learn everything.

Did you apply for an extension/did you get an extension? I have a similar situation where my expiring exam falls outside of the dates that are allowed the extension.
