applying for cpa license in two states simultaneously

    Dear all,

    I am wondering if anyone knows whether it is allowed to apply for initial CPA license in two states simultaneously.

    I have passed the exams in one state where the license processing can take a long period of time, however, I need a CPA license urgently for my new employer in another state. Hence, I have existing application which I do not want to withdraw but I need to submit new application with another board of accountancy.

    Your time and experience are highly appreciate.
