Are they trying to kill me? FAR

    My original exam day would have been in 5 days, but I rescheduled and I’m doing my FAR retake in 12 days. I feel so unprepared. I don’t want to bump up the exam again because then I’ll have to take it in the 2nd window and won’t get my score until August.

    Two weeks ago, I couldn’t get into my Becker desktop software. I uninstalled and when I reinstalled it gave me the 2017 version – WITH NO STATS! I was frustrated so I e-mailed Becker (48 hour response, MY ASS. It took a full week for them to get back to me) I couldn’t be stagnant with no MCQs or software coming up to the final three weeks before my exam So I decided to open up my NINJA software. Since a majority of my studying is done without internet, I was only using NINJA for the notes and audios but I decided to switch to Ninja MCQs. It took me a while to get used to Ninja and after a week, I was finally getting used to the online module then I got the notice that my NINJA software expired. BLAH!!! Luckily becker got back to me and I know how to get back into my old software but now I have no caliber to measure how I’m doing and messed up stats. Basically according to NINJA I’m doing pretty bad which I already knew but shoot.

    My life is like a bag of chips that have been crushed or a bag of cotton candy that has been squished 🙁

    I gotta suck it up and move along but still…

    I'm going to be the person who says "I finished even though..." not the person who says "I didn't finish because..."

    Becker’s customer service is crap. I have never gotten an easy resolution to my questions with them, and it was always a run around just trying to get an answer. Their software was glitchy the whole time I used it- it would not update my stats the way it should, and I would go back and stats would be missing. For the price, they could use much improvement in the customer service department.

    fyi Becker has a live chat – after not hearing from them via email I tried that out and I got my questions answered within minutes. Just something to consider if you need it in the future – good luck!

    I had one other question for them and never received a response.

    This time, after waiting 6 days, I e-mailed again saying they didn't respond. They responded to the second e-mail over 24 hours later. It's an expensive study course to be getting the run around.

    The whole thing gets frustrating. By the time I uninstalled my software, reinsatlled, wasted time trying to troubleshoot on my own, I wasted over an hour of my study time. I think that's probably what is the most frustrating…Knowing I need to be studying but instead messing with software.

    Also… You could have called Becker. They pretty much answer in minutes and I've never had a bad experience. I've noticed that a lot of people here don't like to make phone calls… Do you guys not talk on the phone to clients or others at work?
