    Hey everyone,

I have a few questions I want to ask. I am currently studying for AUD using Becker, I passed FAR in December and I am scheduled to take AUD on March 9th. I really wanted to get it done before the busy season starts but I think it will have to overlap.

I have several questions regarding AUD::

    1. Please correct me wrong if I’m wrong, from my understanding Version 3.1 applies to A1, A5 and A6 and Version 3.2 applies to all other chapters. If they are different, I want to know especially for A1 if the difference is significant. Because I plan on purchasing the Final Becker Review that’s only available in Version 3.2

    2. How are you guys studying for AUD? I’m stuck on A4 and this chapter with all Revenue cycle, expense, cash cycles has been very challenging for me.

I’m definitely spending significantly less time studying for AUD than FAR since I just started my job. If there are other review materials that you use that you absolutely recommend I would appreciate it, thanks!

I don't have Becker so I can't suggest you any in this regard. Though I had becker in my first take in December, it expired now.

However, regarding your challenging part, you have to master it & get the control of it, that is important and lessons around it too.

    AUD :56, 72, 77!
    FAR : 74, 77!
    BEC : 72, 75!
    REG : 72, 81!

I am also taking AUD on 3/9!

I am also using Becker and am on A3 right now doing the Homework. I have the Becker final review just because my firm paid for it, and do plan on using it since I do think the final review helped me for FAR, (still waiting on the score), however I do not know how different the material is inside. Will find out in about 12 days.

As far as studying, just watching the entire unit lecture and underlining, followed by note taking for each section and doing the MCQs. However doing the MCQs has really been a drag for me in this section. Becker sometimes has like 40 questions on 4 pages of the book, pretty excessive IMO.

How are you doing on the MCQs, and is your study method any different from mine? Do you feel like you'll have enough time to finish covering all the material efficiently cause I'm kinda stressing about that?

@idontlikeaccouting first, I like your username lol. I am currently on A4, but when I first started I barely did any studying. Like on A1, I dove straight into MCQs which I did fairly well considering I didn't watch the lectures nor read the book I was getting 70s but I do think that I am going to go back and review those because A1 is very important from what I hear. Then I actually started watching the lectures and tried to read the textbook on some of the modules I think I've been getting 60s-70s, rarely 80s and 90s. A4 has been really bad like 40s,50s, and 60s. I just bought Ninja because I am just really frustrated with A4 and need better understanding and I love watching Bob Monette's videos, his videos helped me a lot with FAR. And I do agree Final Becker Review helped me a lot too I am definitely considering if I should get it. I don't think I will have enough time to cover everything but I think it's possible to pass.

@eas0014 About how many hours are you working on this per day?

I've been running a spreadsheet on my performance for the sections, A1~80%, A2~70%, & A3~75%(after the first 3 sections). And yea we are in a bit of a time crunch. Haven't even looked at sims yet lol.

I try to study 2-3 hours a day and as much as I can on the weekends. I haven't looked at Sims either, I'm going to have to really push myself the next 3 weeks or so.

Hey guys, I will also be sitting for the exam on 03/09. I am not sure how Becker or other review courses work, but with Surgent it has an assessment phase at the beginning of your studying. It makes you do 450 MCQs prior to unlocking all the videos. Typically, I try to get thru the 450 questions quickly and then on to the videos. I will watch all the videos for a particular section and then complete all the MCQs for that section. Usually, I try to complete this process in a few days and then onto the next section. Periodically, I will review and go back to old sections and complete some MCQs so I can keep that information fresh in my mind. In the end, I will review all sections and do boatload of MCQs and SIMS to drill the information into my brain. Once in a while rereading notes or review lectures.
