I have gone through all Roger’s lectures and have been hammering at MCQ’s. I have ~500 more to go in terms of seeing them all at least once. These are my current stats:

    1. Engagement Acceptance: Avg, 75% Trend 81%
    2. Understanding Avg, 74% Trend, 76%
    3. Performing Avg, 60%, Trend 63%
    4. Evaluating Avg, 68%, Trend 75%
    5. Acct & Rev Svcs Eng. Avg 76%, Trend 79%
    6. Prof Responsibilities Avg 74%, Trend 78 %
    Overall: Avg, 70% Trend 75%

Overall, I feel pretty good with the MCQ’s. I understand the topics, but definitely need some work on the Performance aspect as illustrated by my current scores…also the cycles. Is there any advice that you can offer through my current position? I plan to continue doing MCQ’s followed by some SIMS. I plan to sit the first week of November. Any focus topics you could recommend are greatly appreciated…I been reviewing Ninja notes and plan to review audit reports as well.

    Thanks!

Preparation is essential, but you also have to be able to perform on test day.

Run through the test day in your mind. Visualize it -from waking up in the morning all the way through taking it. Think about your motivation for taking the exam. Pump yourself up. Think about what you will do if you get MCQ's or Sims you're not prepared for. Plan a strategy for taking the exam. How long will you spend in MCQ's and Sims. Are you going to take a break or go straight through? Get your confidence up as much as you can. If you get anxiety try to get that down to a manageable level.

There's really a lot you can do in this respect and it can make a big difference on how well you do

A good chunk of my week before taking the exam, I spent on this. I got hit with some sims I wasn't prepared for and felt my heart sink and my brain shut down. With all that mental work I did before hand, I was able to overcome that and power through the sims.

It sounds like you have prepared well. You passed FAR with a great score. You'll do awesome.

    Two more.
