AUD exam–which part is most difficult and highly tested?

Just like FAR takers fear Government/NFP, is there a specific in AUD that requires equivalent attention?

I am at Chp 15 Evidence-Sampling of Gleim AUD. I have to say compared to FAR, most AUD chapters are short with only 10-15 pages per chapter. This is day and night different from the FAR book, which puts 20 pages minimum per chapter. I know each review material is different, but you get the idea.

Which part in AUD is most difficult or highly tested? For the Gleim AUD, the sequence of the material seems to be “Risk assessment–planning—internal control–Evidence–Opinions”. Not sure if other reviews like Becker do the same, but I believe this is consistent with the overall audit procedure.

Of my remaining chapters, related reporting chapters has 22 pages, and preparation compilation, review and attestation contains 31 pages, the remaining chapters are around 10 pages or so. The sampling chapter seems to have some math (I’m about to start).

    Any info or ideas?

Okay, now I have my answer.

    Audit sampling section sucks!!

It's not just about math, but the Gleim textbook wrote this part in a way that makes it extremely confusing.

And MUS (monetary unit sampling), that extensive example—-I am basically Nick Young with that question mark face if you know what I mean.

Audit Evidence (how to support mgt assertions, testing, ect), the reports/paragraphs, and the differences between the different kinds of engagements. That was the advice that I was given and that is what I ran with.

Earlier this year I tried to take 3 exams in 4 months. I was burnt out trying to study for AUD (the 3rd right before vacation) and only really gave it two weekend's worth of time and ended up with a very heartbreaking 74 – I crammed the material for 12 days to try and beat the Q3 test window. I feel like I made better connections and understood the material this time. The exam was more challenging than my first attempt, but I felt prepared. I am hoping for one more point.

My point is – this is my advice, but I also may have not passed ><

I get FAR back tonight as well – so if I had to choose one to fail, I would happily sit for AUD again as I NEVER want to study for FAR again ….

    AUD - 83

Unfortunately I've had to take AUD three times. Each time the emphasis has been different. Study your azz off and you'll pass. Good luck!

    AUD - 86
    BEC - 78
    FAR - 83
    REG - 75
    Gotta stay focused

Know it all like your life depended on it. The examiners have changed it up quite a bit from Exam to exam. Definitely know the Audit procedures such as tracing, vouching, confirmations, etc for various situations.

    Goodluck and keep grinding!

I had a sampling sim with a p-chart and that made absolutely no sense. You know you're screwed when the question says round your number to the nearest thousandths

    AUD - 79
    BEC - 98
    FAR - 74
    REG - 96
    I hate FAR.
