I took it a month ago. I though the first MCQ testlet was hard and then the second was about the same, maybe a little easier. I felt that it really focused on only 2 of the 4 framework sections. I probably marked 10 questions in each testlet. This is coming from someone that did 3,000 MCQs to prepare. I thought the SIMs were pretty easy except for the ones in the final testlet which I definitely had to spend a decent amount of time on. There was also a SIM on the first testlet where I think I may have overthought it but hopefully that isn't the case. I left feeling like it's 50/50 if I passed or not. I'm taking BEC on the 9th so I will know going in whether or not BEC will potentially be my last exam.February 22, 2019 at 5:11 pm #2228418BubbaParticipant
I felt like the MCQ was pretty easy because I studied for it so much. Maybe two or three that I was unsure about. The SIMSs seem fair, but there were a couple that were tricky.February 26, 2019 at 8:29 am #2232945March 1, 2019 at 8:19 am #2239941March 1, 2019 at 8:20 am #2239950March 1, 2019 at 8:21 am #2239953March 1, 2019 at 9:36 am #2240085pwhite8388Participant
Thanks. I ended up passing. I spent about 40 minutes on each MCQ section and then had like 15-20 minutes for each SIM. I submitted with 5 minutes left but that is because I really took my time on the SIMs and double checked everything.
My advice is, once you finish your MCQs, calculate how much time you have for each question. If you hit the time limit on the question, force yourself to wrap it up as soon as possible and move on to the next one.
