    Hello All,

    So as I said in the title I am taking Audit on the 5th, then the decision is what next. My BEC expiration is at the end of February. Basically allowing me two chances at one exam and not the other. Some additional info I have passed FAR before with a 75 on my first attempt before. While I have almost no experience with REG. I am leaning towards the monster I know(FAR) which I feel should be more efficient studying, but the test is the bigger crapshoot and allow me another try.

    Any thoughts? Thanks for your time.

    FAR 8/10/14 - 75
    AUD 10/15
    BEC - 8/31/15 83
    REG - TBD

    You also need to realize that REG has the MOST changes. Come 4/17, it will be a four hour test with MORE SIMs. So I would get that out of the way. We actually almost have the same path. I take Audit 10/3 and have already scheduled REG for 12/10.

    Wanna study together? 😀

    Is there a reason you can't take both? REG early November and FAR at the latest date available? I just did that with AUD and BEC, passed with 75 and 76 respectively.

    BEC - 76
    FAR - 80

    I guess it would be possible… but I don't know if I would be able to finish FAR in a month, and the REG i have no idea about. While I would love to get this over with 75 and a 76 are pretty close to no passes, and that could hurt me worse then only getting 1 chance at one of the tests.

    Very true! I was disappointed with AUD, ecstatic about BEC. I am devoting a lot of time for FAR, scheduled for 11/12. Be honest with yourself, and then decide. Since you passed FAR before, you may be able to pass again, but I think that this exam is 1 part luck and two parts studying, so you need to decide. I had a lot of the REG stuff going on at work, so I actually don't think it is all that hard. But it could be for you…

    Good luck, whatever you do!

    Both REG and FAR contain the most material. I would take REG instead of FAR. In Becker, REG is only 8 chapters whereas FAR is 10 chapters. Plus, the business law material isn't too demanding. If I understand correctly, you passed FAR in the past? If that's the case, then devote more time to material you're least familiar with.

    Are you out of work and out of school? If so, you really only need 3 weeks to study for any of the exams. Maybe you could take REG in early November and FAR before Q3 ends.

    @Amor D

    If either you or Nick would like to email me, go ahead. I'm still studying for AUD for 10 more days. Then I attack REG. But I'm practically starting from scratch. But let's hope REG is my last….. 😀

    @OP

    Also, how long do you have to take REG? I mean, I have only from 10/5 to 12/10, which honestly SEEMS like a long time already so… Since you took FAR , going it over a second time shouldn't be too bad. Trust, when I went over FAR a second time, a lot of things and issues opened up. REG, I barely tried for this exam the FIRST time. But I KIND OF have the same as you, BEC expires end of April and I REALLY don't want to take the NEW exam…

    Unfortunately I work full time. I have decided to take REG in Q4. It just makes more sense, to use more time with the material I don't know, then what I do. Plus even though FAR will be hard and I will need a complete restudy. Some of the subjects are pretty easy to get through especially a second time. Totally willing to have study partner for Q4! Thank you all for your input.
