The AUD SIMS in Becker seem to be relatively easy, especially considering the posts I’ve seen in this blog about people getting extremely difficult ones on the real exam. Can anyone attest to their experience in the real audit exam compared to Becker?

It is obviously helpful to do the becker sims. But, the AICPA practice exam sims are extremely useful, at least they were for me. I would focus on those, but doing the becker sims will help nail down information.

The AUD Sims are the hardest to prepare for IMO because of their subjectivity. They were also the most random – I had never experienced questions like them in Rogers or Becker which made me very unsure of how I did

I agree with you abut the audit sims. I also so your scared for FAR and I was wondering how you went about preparing for the exam? Any advice?

I over-prepared for each of the exams. Went through the material fully twice and all the mcqs/sims in Rogers and Becker. All I can say for FAR is that I really did think it was an ocean wide-inch deep exam like many people have said. Just have a basic grasp of each of the chapters and don't break your brain trying to understand all the details. A fairly solid grasp on each section is enough to pass the exam IMO.
