Shooting to take AUD in the first or second week in January.December 19, 2016 at 9:20 pm #1396653
Same here! 71 on the 5th. 😓December 19, 2016 at 9:49 pm #1396673
I plan on retaking Audit on the 14th. I got a 67 on my first attempt 🙁December 19, 2016 at 11:22 pm #1396760
Studied for 3.5 weeks and got a 62 on audit. Taking it again on January 10th. First time around i only used Becker. I just purchased Ninja MCQ. If I pound out every ninja MCQ and Sim over the next few weeks, would that suffice?December 20, 2016 at 10:11 am #1396947
Just got my AUD score. Second try. I am consistently scoring “weaker” in Accounting and Review Services section. Any suggestions? Appreciate your input.December 20, 2016 at 10:32 am #1396973
Questions questions questions! But it all depends on which test you get. I had two simulations on derivatives and very difficult questions.December 20, 2016 at 11:24 am #1397015
I'm having a conversation with my fiance tonight, I want to do my retake of Audit at the end of January. I won't be able to get any studying done this week due to the holiday but plan to start first thing Monday morning. But I definitely need more support from everyone at home.
We'll see what happens. I'm trying to have a positive attitude about the exam process but it's difficult.December 20, 2016 at 2:28 pm #1397235
Took AUD twice a few years ago and scored a 72 and a 68. Now after passing FAR I've decided to go for round 3 with AUD on Feb 4th. I've already hit the review stage in the Ninja test bank and am finished with 8 of the 20 modules in Gleim.
Really hoping I can knock it out this time and move on to REG.December 20, 2016 at 2:37 pm #1397243
AUD is my last exam. Since you can only take each section once per testing window, I'm in no rush and plan to use the whole testing window to make sure I pass this thing the first time.
Will be using Gleim and NINJA MCQDecember 20, 2016 at 8:41 pm #1397573
BORN TO WINParticipant
My first (and hopefully only) match with AUD is scheduled for Jan 20th. I have no audit experience aside from being the client who is asked to provide evidence to support activity from throughout the year.December 20, 2016 at 10:15 pm #1397657
Anyone knows when the are going to issue Score schedule release of Q1 2017? I do not want to schedule my audit exam before knowing the score release. This is my last exam and I am so nervous about it and not sure also when to take it, but the good thing is that I have the whole window for one examDecember 20, 2016 at 10:25 pm #1397667
Hi Forem004 ,
can you tell us why you haven't pass on your first try on audit? have you not put enough time or? I am asking because your scores are very close to mine in the other three exams so I think you are the best one to advise me at this point.. thanksDecember 21, 2016 at 6:03 am #1397805
Hi everyone! 🙂 Taking AUD for the first time on January 30th… Hopefully my last test! But you're all getting me scared!
Does anyone know if we'll be able to take the same test twice within one quarter for Q1 2017? I know they changed some things for people to take the tests before April… would that happen to be one of them? Or is this my one chance to take AUD before the exam changes?December 21, 2016 at 6:47 am #1397813
Anyone using Becker? I have a question about one of the simulations I'd like someone's help with.
Chapter 6, simulation 1, task 2, question 6December 21, 2016 at 10:07 am #1397903
This is my 4th attempt at Audit.
Scored 74 – yes a 74 – from my October exam. Was hoping to move on to FAR, but that was not to be.
Right now, I'm trending 100% in Ninja – but I'm not in the “review” state yet. What do I need to do to get to the “review stage”? I can't seem to find that anywhere in the FAQ's. I want to pass this thing and move on to FAR at the end of January before busy season begins….!December 21, 2016 at 12:21 pm #1397994
@didato I think that you have to answer a certain percentage right before moving on. Maybe try doing a custom set and choose new questions. I've not done it either, but it seems like I did read that somewhere.December 21, 2016 at 12:24 pm #1397997
Terrible luck with the exam I was given. The multiple choice was very hard and two long simulations on derivatives.December 21, 2016 at 3:52 pm #1398162
@didato you must answer each question in the test bank correctly at least once to get to review stage. If you hover over the orange progress bar on the dashboard it will tell you the % of questions answered correctly. Once you get to 100% you will be in review.
You can go to the MCQ + Sims page and choose a section then create a session based on questions missed last time or questions not seen if there are any you haven't attempted yet. On the progress section you can look and see how many questions you have not answered correctly for that section. Once each section has 0 questions not answered correctly and 0 questions not seen then you will be in review.December 21, 2016 at 6:29 pm #1398254

Good luck all…getting ready to take AUD on 1/20. To the person above who asked about retaking again in Q1,this is not allowed and if you don't pass you won't be able to retake until Q2.December 22, 2016 at 6:45 am #1398488
@didato I would assume so?? Seems like once you have answered all of them correctly it would give you new questions to be able to move on automatically.
Does anyone know if the sims count toward the performance phases? It seems like there would be a FAQ someplace.December 22, 2016 at 6:48 am #1398492December 22, 2016 at 6:51 am #1398494
Okay so that was supposed to be a video explaining adaptive technology, but it wasn't. It is the only thing I've come across when I just tried looking for some answers.December 22, 2016 at 1:47 pm #1398765
i studied 3.5 weeks and got a 62 =( ..
but i got comparable on the sims! lol
feel like i wasted a good testlet since i did decent on the sims..
but plan on retaking mid Jan .. the MCQ was trickyDecember 22, 2016 at 3:02 pm #1398812
Becker crowd – I do a chapter per week, but exclude SIMS (do a few of those during review). Just videos and HW. There is just a MASSIVE amount of MCQs per chapter with AUD. I am falling behind and can't get them all done in each week, esp with holidays. Thinking of doing a majority of each topic to get a good grasp and then move on. Finish the rest during review. Anyone do this with AUD?December 23, 2016 at 10:07 am #1399247
@CPA788 I have no idea. I personally went through everything on Becker and I actually learned quite a bit from the sims. I just feel completely lost while looking at this stuff; I do not feel confident at all!December 23, 2016 at 12:15 pm #1399341
It's more important to learn from your mistakes than doing more mistakes. What I mean by that is if mc homework are 100 questions, and you do 50 of them (with 15 mc questions went wrong) then looking at them again even the correct ones that you got lucky or were not sure while answer them. This is true also for sims.
It's much efficient and you learn more by doing it rather than doing all mc & sims and not reviewing your mistakes. But for sure, if you have time, the more the better.
Now how to pick mc questions that cover most of material? In my example were 50 out of 100. What I do, I do all mc questions that from CPA exams for the years 2005 – 2016, then if I still have a room to put more questions, I go and pick randomly but I make sure they are not close to each other (pick questions 5 then 9 then 18 then etc)
This is from my experience with the other three sections (except BEC) that I was lucky to pass it, and this is what I am going to do with Audit.December 23, 2016 at 4:30 pm #1399505

2017 Update Video:December 24, 2016 at 7:38 pm #1399871
I am doing absolutely terrible on my exam review now compared to the last. I am so disappointed with my results after doing so well on my previous review. All I want for Christmas is some motivation!
