good luck to all testing this quarter. i posted these last quarter because i found them very helpful references.

    https://www.aicpa.org/advocacy/state/downloadabledocuments/attest-services-chart-color-nonfillable.pdf

    Links to the standards:

Auditing – use the Clarified, always AU-C
    https://www.aicpa.org/research/standards/auditattest/pages/clarifiedsas.aspx

    Attestation – always AT – https://www.aicpa.org/Research/Standards/AuditAttest/Pages/SSAE.aspx

Compilation and Review – AR, but Reviews are covered under some other standards, too, so watch out…
    https://www.aicpa.org/RESEARCH/STANDARDS/COMPILATIONREVIEW/Pages/compilation%20and%20review%20standards.aspx

Ethics – AICPA Code of Professional Conduct https://pub.aicpa.org/codeofconduct/Ethics.aspx

PCAOB 5 for Issuers – An Audit of Internal Control Over Financial Reporting That Is Integrated with An Audit of Financial Statements – https://pcaobus.org/Standards/Auditing/pages/auditing_standard_5.aspx

and then AICPA makes their Online Professional Library (OPL) available free for 6 months to anyone with an active NTS. some folks on here say it helps them learn more effective searches. you can submit your request here: https://www.aicpa.org/BecomeACPA/CPAExam/ForCandidates/HowToPrepare/Pages/literature.aspx

i didn't find the OPL to be helpful. but hey that's just me.

@Farwars surprised to see you back here : (. Thought you had AUD nailed. May I ask how you did on the score report for that brutal 72? I nailed the MCQ's performing stronger overall, but got weaker on sims and resulted in a 66. Really must have bombed sims. Otherwise I'm surprised to not have at least scored a 70.

I'm taking my first stab (and last, hopefully) at AUD in May.

I'm using Roger books/lectures, and he made reference to changes in the “Professional Responsibilities and Ethics” section, specifically that the AICPA Code of Conduct has been reorganized and the actual section numbers have changed. I'm not certain that these changes are reflected in the Ninja AUD MCQs, as I still see lots of the old 101 / 303 type section numbers. Sure enough, the Roger AUD book revisions shows a different numerical format for the Code of Ethics.

How much focus should I give to getting a grasp on all of the new section numbers?

Good to hear. We spent so much time in my Ethics class on the AICPA sections that I was panicking about re-learning all of those sections…arg.

I'm taking AUD first week of May. Trying to get a handle on the management assertions in the transaction cycles. Hopefully the more mcq's I do will help because I'm having a hard time with them. I've read on here that mastering this is essential to passing so any tips on how to understand them better?

Auditing in April for me. Using Becker. Anyone else find the Audit Research questions much more difficult than FAR research questions? I'm struggling finding an effective way to tackle these.
