Hey guys,

I’m just looking for Advice on the Audit Exam. I have just finished 2 chapters with Becker – Audit Reports, Compilations, Reviews, Comparative F/S, Interim F/S, and various Attestation engagements. I hit those chapters really, really hard to try to understand the endless reports, their content, organization of paragraphs, and verbiage, etc. I hope it pays off for the Exam because I heard knowing the Reports inside and out is very important.

Anyhow, I still plan to hit the remaining material hard, but am looking for some advice. Of course, hitting all the material hard is important, but maybe some specific topics to focus on would help. For example, I was very, very happy I hit Govt/NFP hard in FAR. Studying Govt/NFP like a madman definitely helped my score – I passed with a 77 (whew)! That was a close score, but not bad for my very first attempt at these exams. BTW, I am definitely finding Auditing easier relative to FAR, but it is still very time consuming.
