I honestly think that I failed. I felt pretty solid on the MQC questions, some were tricky but I felt like I knew most of them, the simulations were a completely different story. Testlet 3 wasn’t too terrible, one problem I felt ok about and the other was a research question, but Testlet 4 was just awful, there’s a chance that I didn’t get a question right on 2 of the simulations. I also started to feel rushed when I got to the last simulation in Testlet 4, which happened to be a DRS problem where I felt the documents given to me were absolutely no help. The last Testlet was not as bad, but the more I think about it the more I think I bombed those simulations as well. I studied using Becker and did pretty well on the practice exams (73% and 75%) but now I feel like I just wasted a month of my life.

@Average Joe-I felt the same way on REG as well! I have no idea how to study for the SIMS effectively. I understand the part about doing well on MCQs and knowing the concepts enough to tackle the SIMS, but they just throw so much stuff in there it's hard to figure it out sometimes! I am just holding onto the adage that if you think you failed you passed!

What was your breakdown for sims vs MCQ on your becker practice exams? I think if you're really strong in MCQ, you can still pull through! I also got hit with some horrible sims on aud but hoping my MCQ is enough to get me a 75 haha

    Becker for all

    AUD - 87 (Q2 2017)
    FAR - 97 (Q3 2017)
    REG - 95 (Q3 2017)
    BEC - 98 (Q3 2017)

I averaged 73% on simulations in my practice exams and I finished the MCQs with around 2.5 hours left on the exam.

i feel you, i took AUD back on the 25th of July. Feel pretty good about the MCQ, and the SIMS Lord only knows. Here's to hoping for good news for us all come the Sep 22 (Sep 19?) release date.

Hoping for a generous curve. As they say around here…if you think you passed you probably failed and if you think you failed you probably passed. Hoping the latter is true in our cases.

    Best of luck.

    AUD - 85
    BEC - 89
    FAR - 91
    REG - 97

That was pretty much my exact experience for REG. I'm just going to purchase Gleim for any sections I fail because I don't feel Becker's materials do good at all for the sims portion. Really bummed now that score release is just around the corner because I'm trying to prepare for bad news. :/ Anyway this is nothing more than ‘I hear ya'.

    AUD - 85
    BEC - 86
    FAR - 83
    REG - 84
