I have been studying audit for the past few weeks. Needless to say, I feel like I have barely understood any information. I am using Becker to study. I am going through all of the Becker videos but there is so much material. I already took BEC but I feel like in Audit, they don’t specify what information is very important for the exam.

There are so many lists to know, and I just don’t know how to go about studying for this. I take my exam in less than a month.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Unlike all other sections, AUD is the most monolithic and if you understand the audit process it will be easier to understand the individual subsections. Go back to the audit overview-and then go to each sub section. I think they start off with audit strategy, vs. audit plan, substantive testing, controls testing etc. These are all interconnected. Do MCQs after each module, then do progress tests every couple of chapters to layer the information on. Don't ignore the SIMS. Make sure you do AICPA practice test-super beneficial.

@anyatver Thank you for your response. For some reason I am just struggling so much. I watch all of the videos, but he doesn't highlight anything and I seem to zone out in them. I will definitely make sure to go back to the audit process and then look at each section. However, I feel like even with some of the multiple choice I did, I am between two answers and I feel like I am going to get really confused on the exam.
I really don't want to have to retake this, but I already feel like there is noway I am going to comprehend all of this material.

I was wondering if anybody happen to have any advice. I get between 60-80% on the multiple choice. I take my exam in 2 weeks I feel like some of the questions in becker are very specific and not sure what else I should be doing.
