    NINJA Question –

I failed audit too many times to count. I will lose the exam I have passed. Should I restart ninja Mc or just study from where I left off mc? I do not have same motivation. Used to get up at 5:0 and study before work and now just can’t seem to get up. Used to study during lunch and after work. No motivation. Wonder if I should bother?

im in the same boat …the times i've had to retake AUD i started from scratch with the MCQ by resetting my stats. It gets a bit easier going through the material again, little things start to click. You start picking things up you didn't catch before.

As far as motivation it really comes down as how bad you want to pass. You failed a section multiple times, oh well it is what it is…stay persistent
Also, try to keep balance so you don't burn yourself out. I'd rather do an hour of quality studying than 2 hours of going thru the motions ..just my 2 cents

Thank you for your response Ralph. Have you used the Ninja Audit Book?

I did not do a lot of MC for audit. I used Roger, and I only did 60 MC for each section. For AUD, i think we need to know the materials very well and know details for some procedures. Everything about this exam is from the textbook, so you have to know those rules to solve problems or to make educated guess.

    1. read the book

    2. read the book + try some MC (when i did it wrong, I marked the book: wrote down the MC next to the concept)
the purpose of #2: find out my weakness + what I missed + summarized my performance and made future adjustment if necessary

    3. read the book & notes/summary from #2

If your old method cannot help you pass, you may want to try a different strategy. You can pass; you just need a new way to take you there. It does not matter how many MC you do, the key is % of materials you remember/ understand. Close your book, can you clearly explain the material? If you cannot, it means you don't understand it well enough. This is how I studied and passed. Hope this helps.

In my personal experience, audit section uses words to put further attention to detail such as:
except, Least likely, least unusual. When you took the exam, you might have skipped these key words when answering the questions. I will start with audit to retake it and i will put more attention to these details. I also will try to understand the questions and answers more than memorizing the answers. If you are done with ninja mcq, get becker homework. It has like 1400 mcq. Some are new since they were taken in 2007 or something. Ninja and others only put the recent questions. I have found really old questions on becker. I heard gleim also has hard questions. In my case, the simulations killed me. So i have to practice them. Good luck!

@betovich….. What is your strategy or advice for studying the simulations for AUD? This is my first time taking AUD but I recently took FAR and Im sure that the simulations did me in….just wondering what is the best way to approach the simulations? Any advice helps….thanks

    BEC - NINJA in Training
    FAR - NINJA in Training

This is going to be a long hard journey but if it were easy than everyone would be licensed-

Practice all the simulations you have available. Ninja has 85 simulations but 20 or 30 are research questions. Gleim has more than a 100-120 simulations. I simulation for sure it will be AJE so if you took far, you will see it again in far. If you find any factoring, lease recording simulation, share your question simulation here.
