Hi everyone! I’ve been studying for AUD for about a month now. I watched the Becker lectures and did the MCQs, trying to get 60 percent or higher the first time through. My exam is this Saturday and I am just starting my review. I was planning on reading, taking notes and doing MCQs, but it seems to be taking forever if I take notes. Any thoughts? Suggestions? I’ve already taken BEC and REG and never had issues like I’m having with audit…..my brain seems to not be wired for audit 🙁

I struggle with knowing which audit procedures to use for specific transactions cycles.. if anyone has advice to master those concepts, I'd love to hear it!!

    AUD - 72
    BEC - 75
    FAR - 82
    REG - 80
It will all be worth it...hopefully

Thanks for the replies! What do you typically average on the MCQ? I normally try to get over 90% but that's not happening with audit…..I'm a tax guy so audit doesn't make sense to me haha.

Without breaking the AICPA's confidentiality rules about exam questions, let me just mention that there were some areas of study that were not covered at all on the exam but I thought they would be, so I spent lots of time studying them.

I would recommend that you focus on very big-picture things and not worry about the smaller stuff (especially those involving calculations.) There were almost no calculation
questions on my exam and the ones I did get – on the SIMs – were easy.
