Any specific tips for audit?
I’ve had people tell me they felt like this was their most difficult section. I’m halfway through the material and feel pretty ok about it. I interned in audit for a small(ish) firm and I am able to apply the information to most of what I did at the firm. Is the test harder than the info Becker is presenting? Anything different than the other exams?
I will get through the information right before I start working, and I’m giving myself three weeks of review after I start my job.

I just passed audit. I heard its trickier than the other exams in that its 99% theory, and the correct answer choice is not so obvious, meaning that you have to apply a process of elimination and back into the correct answer (that strategy worked great for me BTW). This means that you have to know enough detail to figure out why the other 3 answer choices are incorrect.

As far as the becker content vs. the actual exam, I feel that the mock exams are pretty close to what you'll experience on the actual exam. I did notice that the mock exam MCQ's were a tad bit harder than the actual exams, but the simulations on the actual exam are much harder than the mock exam simulations. The good news is one of the TBS and 12 MCQ's are pretest questions, so naturally your score on the actual exam should be higher than your score on becker (for example: my mock exam score was a 69, and my actual score was a 78).

Definitely do the AICPA sample test. The simulations on that sample test are representative of the actual exam.

I made a flowchart/diagram of all the cycles and think with skepticism (more like schizophrenic imo) of every possible internal control problem and what can prevent them.

Those report and format questions should be easy points so try know the different reports by heart

Beckers prepares pretty well for handling AUD especially when you have already cleared FAR, you should be fine on the SIMs

I'm not sure about Becker but for Roger he had a section in AUD where he reviewed some of the key chapters from FAR. Definitely go over that because it will help you on the SIMS tremendously, at least for me it did~
