I am 3 days away from sitting BEC. I have been studying with Becker and Ninja. Doing well in both, admittedly, IT is not my best topic (still scoring in the 80s) but did the cpaforfree.com today, and did anywhere from 78% to 85% to 55%…Ugh, in these last 3 days what should I do? Short of reading the glossary of terms in Becker, I am not sure what I can or should do at this point…

Those scores are pretty solid. BEC for Ninja is probably the hardest test bank next to FAR so if you're averaging in the 70's you're in good shape. IT is a crapshoot and you never know what kind of questions you'll be getting. Just pray you don't get flooded with IT questions like I did for my first two attempts.

My average is low because I did all unseen questions first. Don’t let it get to you. Like they said, NINJA BEC is a hard TB, but it will get you a pass if you stay after it. 😉

Thanks guys-I have been doing MCQ in Becker and Ninja non-stop for two weeks and spent over a month on Ninja testbank alone on top of Becker… Different cuts, different amount of questions, there are only 9 questions in Ninja I haven't seen and I feel like it did give me a different perspective from Becker. Just reviewing my notes, formulas…IT is the worst-if in other areas you could apply some logical thinking, the IT questions are so dumb, especially the ones about stupid network cards and network configuration… So frustrating!

The fact that you are even considering panicking with those scores is making me panic with my trending 79 average 70. I think you should be okay, me on the other hand…maybe not

@industryCPA-I am just panicking because this exam is this big unknown to me and I am just generally anxious at this point:)

I'm with @hasy. My trending/averages were actually in 70s and I was somehow able to pull off an 80! It definitely helps that my writing skills are usually in the “stronger” category… MCQ is 85% of your score so those are obviously important. But it sounds like you are right on track. Just keep at it! The way you're mixing up the mcqs is a good method, and that's how I would continue to study. Maybe try to focus on your weak areas the next day or so, then the day before continue to do a mix of all questions.

    Good luck!!

Also, meant to add – I definitely feel like NINJA MCQ adequately prepared me for this test. Its a tough TB but you will be prepared!

I am averaging 72% and trending 91% so hopefully this means we are ready. Taking BEC tomorrow. How many mcq have you done in Ninja?

For FAR I was average 75% and trending 94% and got an 84. A few of the topics in the BEC test bank were pretty brutal my first time through.

I've done 1400 questions and still trending 79. Pretty worried, but at this point, there's not much I can do since my test is tomorrow. For REG, I was trending 79 and got an 80. Hoping for the same results tomorrow!

If you don't mind me asking, what was your average Ninja MCQ score when you made that 80 on REG? I have REG this weekend. 1,200 Ninja MCQ attempts, trending 88% and average 70%. I've also been doing Becker progress tests in sets of 72, and my 3 most recent scores on those have been 86%, 95% and 90%. Hoping that my average ninja MCQ score won't hurt me too much.

    Thanks!

I don't use Becker but it sounds like people usually do better on the actual exam than Becker, so you should be set for a pass!
