Basis and Liquidation

Hello,

I am taking REG on Friday and still very confused about how to calculate basis for Sec. 351, for partnership, S-Corp, and Corporations. I am also confused on the difference between non-liquidating and liquidating calculations.

Can anyone give me some tips or tricks to understanding these topics better?

First and foremost remember Non-L for non-liquidating and no Loss recognition.

FAR - 77
