good luck getting any valuable responses . No one shares anything here of value regarding what to look out for on the exam, what to study, what topics showed up etc, how many questions on ABC topic, what kind of SIMS they got etc…

It is kind of frustrating but what can you do.

I took it in Q3 and finally passed with an 81 after 2-74's back to back. Please go to the AICPA website and do the BEC problems. Use cpareviewforfree.com. It got me the 7 pts I needed to pass

No one shares that kind of information because it is not only prohibited by this website but also by the AICPA. You can't share specifics about the exam, just general information.

    Hi guys,

I'm asking about the level of difficulty of 4th quarter actual exam not the particular topics. Hope it's clear now.

How's your experience, it was easy, moderate, or difficult?

I just took the exam last Saturday. Difficulty wise it was hard. Maybe 9/10 difficulty in my opinion. The concepts being tested hardly match the review. I am using Roger's CPA review, and I also used Becker's MCQ. This is second time I took BEC. I did the lecture and MCQ from beginning to end and back to back. I feel like Roger's material and AICPA are not on the same page conceptually. I have complained about this to Roger's team as well. Not sure what they are going to do about it if anything. Do not take non-math chapters lightly, they are heavily tested as well. Like the guy above said, do the AICPA practice test, especially the simulation in addition to the review.

I took it this past Friday for the third time. I felt great going in, but ended up flagging the first five questions. It didn't get much better from there. A lot of WTF questions. Don't underestimate this exam. If you think you're ready, study more.

@Shawn , it is practically prohibited to share exam on another71. I am not talking about specific , it's simply prohibited . Yes you can share all meaningless experience.

Yes, I agree. Unfortunately it is. Your statement about meaningless experience is right on the mark…that's all that is derived from this website. What people may not realize is when someone asks “what is your experience in “XYZ” exam for QX Year X” it has little to no value. If someone has a very good concept of the material and does the work in their profession (let's say tax) then REG will be easy to them and it may be difficult for someone else.

Then you have people coming on here stating “XYZ exam had difficult SIMS” and MCQs were a nightmare. Well we don't know if they only studied 10 hours and if their intelligence is below average.

This website is only fun and exciting/ has any value around score release time to see friends pass and help others get through fails. To get exam experience from others is MEANINGLESS

@SHAWN IN VA ,it was not always like that.In one of the question Jeff had answered that it's okay to say Govt was heavily tested ,unfortunately I don't have that url.I wonder if earlier we were violating the rules of AICPA ? I don't think so but Admin and some super users who already passed tried to go all out to say “please just post “useless” or “meaningless”.Results ? People avoid to share .
Now here are my question ,don't you know Govt and NFP are heavily tested ? but if someone says so on forum then some Super and CoolDudes will jump and will say “hey hey it has some usefulness ” did you read rules ? Meaningless please and the guy will get scared and would say I can't delete. Then wannaBfree will say hey write to Jeff for delete. LOL .I love this whole operating cycle.

Thank you guys for sharing your experience. My exam is in December, however I feel a lot of stress because the material covered is not my favorite (and it is all over).

Honestly, I don't understand why certain topics are extremely tested. Shouldn't they follow the content of the CPA exam?

I still believe in the same theory that each exam may be different. We never going to know what we may be asked.

@@superdude3000 ,as you have passed the exam what is your goal or objective to read each thread ? Just to let people know that it's violation or not ? Did you get a job or promotion after passing cpa exam?
just curious.Once I pass the FAR ,more likely than not I would say “I am done” and SAYONARA”.Desperate to say SAYONARA.

I dont read all the threads, just ones that seem interesting and while I do inform people when they're disclosing too much I'm doing it because it apears some people really don't understand that they can't disclose the information. I like to think I'm helping them understand that they can't disclose so much but ultimately it's up to Jeff and his team to decide if they have or not. Really the only reason I still come here is because I'm bored as I dont start working my full-time position for 2 more weeks. I always like to give my input if it helps people. I was on my school's accounting club board and because I sat early for the exam I had lots of classmates asking for help with getting approved to sit and tips for passing, this site is just an extension of helping others. My guess is that in 2-3 weeks I won't be visiting this site anymore which I guess may be a good thing for people trying to extract exam information from others lol although pretty much every thread I've commented on jeff or somebody else has made edits to the thread. I'm not trying to be the thread police, just looking out for a blatant disregard for the rules.

Oh, and no raise promotion as I havent started, but I do get a $3000 bonus my first month for passing
