BEC – Becker – Chapter 6

    Becker Question –

    I’m on chapter 6, but for some reason I just cant get a grasp on this information. I think I’m burnt out from Reg and Far. I cant tell what is important and what is not. Not sure what to focus on. Tbh this chapter seems like a bunch of bullshit…..any advice?

    You’d perhaps get 5 questions or less from B6. This chapter is a little bit of everything. The first 2 sections are somehow related to Operations Mgt., 3rd section to Economics, and last 3 sections are related to Financial Management.

    I wouldn’t take a chance to skip this chapter unless you are fresh out of college/school. The information you can get from this chapter can be useful for your WC.

    I was really scared of WC section of BEC primarily because English is not my native language. Secondly, I had this fear of what-if I had no idea what would be the topic about? So I had this back-up plan to simply regurgitate the task, make sure to portray that I know the topic or question being asked, then to mention to have a project team (composed of the project manager, member, sponsor, steering committee) or assign each to plan, strategize, or initiate the task or set up the DMADV, DMV Office, blah blah.

    I’d like to share with you the BEC Outline that I laid out of Becker’s book. This helps me connect the random topics of this so-called (ironically) “Be-Easy” part of the CPA.
