Hi all,
I’m taking BEC the third Saturday of November. This is my first test (well technically 2nd, first attempt was REG back in 2011).
I am half way through the material using Wiley. So far anything banking related has been pretty straight forward.
I’m not looking forward to Cost Accounting as I almost failed that class in college.
I’m hoping to finish all material by the end of October so I can do just tests for two weeks.

Hello everyone!!

1. My goal is to take BEC before Thanksgiving so I don't have to think about accounting over the holiday!
2. I am definitely comfortable with Corporate Governance, specifically internal controls and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), mostly because I do it for a living.
3. I'm worried about the writing section. I have done well watching lectures and memorizing note cards/formulas, but the idea of writing 3 professional memos in a short amount of time makes me nervous! Also, don't even get me started in derivatives…
