    What’s the “normal” response?

    Ran out of time?
    Plenty of time left?
    Etc.

For me, I ran out of time for FAR and had around 1.5 hrs left for AUD.

I’d really like to take full advantage of the clock.

    Thanks!!!

Just took BEC today! I had a little over an hour left. That was after double-checking my answers/recalculating/rereading WC's.

    Hope this helps!

Most experts say spend about 45 minutes to each testlet. That leaves students 45 minutes for 3 WC items. For me, I need more than 3 hours for BEC because of the writing part.

I had about 10 mins to spare, I left myself a solid hour for the written portion because i wanted to make each one 3-4 paragraphs. I needed every minute since I ended up on the bubble, luckily I passed

I ran down the clock when I took BEC. I had about 35 minutes to knock out the writing portion. Thankfully, I managed to write a few sentences for each and was just proofreading as the clock wound down to zero.

It took blood, sweat, tears, weight gain, and sleep deprivation.

I just took it today. Had about 40 minutes to spare, but I kinda rushed through the first testlet because I was scared I would run out of time.

I finished just a few minutes early. I forget how much time I planned for each testlet, but I stuck to it pretty well; however, I didn't end up with as much time to review answers as I would have liked. As a student, I was neither a fast test taker nor a slow one. I typically finished tests somewhere near the middle of the class and maybe slightly in the slower half if I recall correctly. I'm not sure that that means anything.

I guess I'll do the 45 mins for each section, that's what Becker has.

It took me 2 hours and about 5 minutes…I did not go back to re-check my answers though and went through them fairly quickly. Once that clock starts going all I want to do is be done. When I was doing Becker practice exam I spent way more time on it! (don't know what that means for me passing or failing this godforsaken test!)

Took it 3 times, my advice is use all of your time or at least most of it. Second time I had 30 minutes left which I should have used to proof read my writing again, proof reading is very important!!

Wrote BEC Jan 9th, and I took the full three hours (with a couple minutes to spare).

That being said I did take my time and checked most questions in each testlet after I had finished each testlet. I also got stuck on a couple questions and took my time on them knowing I was doing ok for time. By the time I got to the WC I had about 50 minutes and finished in time being able to review my work on each one.

I would say if you don't take the exam slowly (which I didn't have to, it just made me feel a little more secure in submitting the testlets) that 3 hours is plenty of time.

Took me the whole 3 hours today. Feel good about it though.
