BEC Exam Day advice?

    On the essay question, don't worry too much about it sounding like a novel. Make it simple with an introduction, simple transitions, and simple conclusion. Your main focus needs to be to include as many relevant terms and concepts of the topic they ask. A computer grades you based on the amount of terms and concepts relevant to the topic they give you. So a human will not be checking whether it sounds like novel. I heard the only time a human reads it is when you are borderline passing.

    How many paragraphs should the memo/ letter be?

    @c1oth, follow the amount of paragraphs your review course says, I can't recall but it should be brief to the point. I would organize it nicely and if you have multiple concepts that tie to the topic I would organize it nicely with a paragraph for each concept. Etc. Etc. Check your review course for what they suggest, I passed BEC more than 18 months ago.

    Literally none of the annoying prometric or actual test issues the rest of you had showed up for me. My fear is that I was dead after the first testlet, because it went

    I was annoyed. I wish I had studied every freakin thing, because the stuff I didn't know, I know I should have learned.

    Shrug, going to chill for a day and just wait apathetically for the results.

    Porma- Best of luck and I will pray for you…
    I am taking the BEC in a few days. Any recommendations on the concentration? I was thinking COSO, NPV/IRR, CM/Break-Even, and IT. What do you think?
