I was just curious if people felt that their exam was more conceptual or more computational? I felt like my FAR exam was way more conceptual and it surprised me. Also, if anyone is using Becker, are the computational problems on Becker a good representation of the computational problems on the actual exam? It seems like the Becker problems are quite wordy and lengthy to compute the answer. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

BEC does have computational questions, but most of it is conceptual. Becker BEC material holds true to the idea that “Becker over-prepares you for the exam”.

I took BEC in July and passed. From my exam experience, I can say that it was far more computational but you have to know the conceptual in order to do a lot of the computations too. Write ALL the Becker formulas out on notecards and memorize every one! Good luck!
