So I took BEC this morning and I must say, the test was not too bad. I had a lot of calculations on the first testlet. The 2nd testlet was kinda easier but it was filled with new material not covered in Becker and simple conceptual questions. The Sims were actually super fair to the point I did think some could be so easy. The written communications weren’t bad just on topics I wish I could’ve expounded a little more on. All in all, I think I need a little luck to take me over the top but we’ll see later this month. On AUD now.

I had a similar experience when I took BEC back on April 27th. I think the calculations really threw me for a loop because frankly I wasn't expecting so many. I spent over an hour on the first testlet, due to probably freaking out too much. Thankfully I was able to move on and complete the rest of the exam with plenty of time and ease, hopefully it will be enough for a 75. Best of luck to you in audit, I am taking tomorrow!

Very similar to mine. 1st testlet was calculation heavy. 2nd testlet – some calculation and heavy conceptual. The SIMs were pretty simple. WC topics sucked.

D-I-T-T-O!!! Some of the calculations were completely foreign to me or maybe it was just the wording of the questions.

@emily I had the exact same time management issues with the first testlet.

I've taking this weekend off from studying or even thinking about anything CPA related. I've been at this since January 8th and I'm beat!! Have a great weekend everyone.

I also took BEC today.. Within the first 8 questions, my computer crashed during using the excel spreadsheet. 10 mins later I was finally moved to another computer.. Freakin perfect. Tons of calculations on both mcqs sections but a little less pressure during the TBS. The written had 2 simple topics and on the one you would need to know something about the topic but I winged it.. Do I think I passed? hell no.. I'm guessing I made a 60 at best.

    A - 79
    F - 77
    R - 83
    B - 75

    AUD - 74 (3x), TBD
    BEC - Sept16
    FAR - TBD
    REG - TBD

I was worried I didn't do as well on the first testlet based on there being way less calculations on the second but I might be overthinking it.

I feel like I did better on the Sims than MCQs. Hopefully I just missed all the pretest material lol.

Ugh, my test was horrible. First testlet was lots of calculations and the second was conceptual. I felt that I was unsure on a lot of it and know I failed…
